Loansnap.com was founded in 1999 as a New England mortgage broker. It later grew into one of New England's premier mortgage lenders.

In 2009, Loansnap.com found the mortgage market and availability of credit too constrained to be able to provide the mortgage products and rates necessary to best assist its clients. The decision was made to close Loansnap.com in the summer of 2009.
